About Lynne Morgan, RN, Licensed Acupuncturist
I am grateful to be able to share the benefit of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with you. My passion for this medicine began when I found acupuncture and Chinese herbal Medicine extremely helpful in getting me through the strenuous 12 hour night shifts, while working as a nurse. Coming from a Western Medicine Background, I didn't understand it initially, but knew that it was valuable in getting me through this time period in my life.
My background includes training not only in acupuncture, but in a wide array of Chinese medicine modalities. I am licensed by the state of North Carolina, and recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I have 33 years of nursing experience, and 16 years working as an Acupuncturist.
I have had the pleasure of treating U.S. Armed Service Veterans for 7 years at the Veterans Health Administration, working with those experiencing PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and other serious health issues.
In addition, I worked for the Huntsman Cancer Institute of University of Utah, assisting patients and their caregivers going through cancer treatments .
When I'm not working, I enjoy hikes in the mountains, walks on our beautiful North Carolina beaches, and spending time with my pets, my family, and my friends
Your unique health care situation is of the utmost importance to me. I am happy to answer any questions about the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Together we can work toward achieving your health and wellness goals.
